fancy old-timer townhouse in emeryville is now closed.
we're not sure when it happened, but yammy sushi at 195 el cerrito plaza in el cerrito quietly cleared out of their heritage space owned by one family for several decades. we believe the sushi restaurant opened in 2002 (and it was a diner from the same owners before that?), but would love it if longtime locals could help with the exact opening year.
