red bay coffee flagship cafe closing

oakland's lovely red bay coffee flagship cafe at 3136 international boulevard in the fruitvale district, near the company's roastery, will close at the end of november, the company announced today on social media.

the airy, soaring coffee and community cafe space opened in a former bank in 2021.

"as our lease comes to an end, we'll be focusing our energy on other parts of our business," said the announcement. "continuing to roast, ship and serve you through our other locations and partnerships."

red bay coffee's fruitvale cafe is at 3136 international boulevard in oakland, and will close at the end of this month.
