newcomer ashby eatery opens

opened this month in the funky little former flacos spot on adeline street in south berkeley is newcomer ashby eatery, serving an all-day menu (hours listed above in photo) wednesday-sunday of breakfast and lunch, including an appealing kid's menu and happy hour specials.

we're curious about the sandwiches (for both breakfast and lunch), the overnight oats, smoothies and the banana bread french toast, but are also intrigued by the more healthful bowls and other breakfast and lunch options for a range of diets.

we also like the fun look of the laid-back neighborhood space, with indoor and outdoor seating, right across from the ashby bart station.

ashby eatery is at 3031 adeline street in berkeley.
