service updates

a friend shared that musashi no longer serves dinner. the berkeley sushi favorite (since 1979) now offers lunch only tuesday through saturday. (catering is available daily.)

bar panisse in berkeley is now open seven days a week from 5-10pm.

anahuac (above) on the berkeley/albany border now serves daily breakfast and brunch from 9am-3pm, along with dinner nightly.

kopi bar inside bampfa has started wednesday-sunday brunch service.

spats bar in berkeley now serves aburaya fried chicken for lunch, yakitori hiyama and tacos viva mexico for dinner. (check schedule.)

a tipster noted dinner service is on hiatus at southie oakland . (we've reached out to find out more.) the restaurant is now lunch only tuesday-sunday.

meanwhile, as of today, park station (and new southie alameda) are open seven days a week.

oken in oakland has stopped lunch as of today, and is now dinner only thursday-sunday.

oakland's sirene now features happy hour monday-thursday from 5-6pm.

spring closing announcements

the crepe pan on piedmont avenue in oakland has permanently closed.

as first reported on by the chronicle, trumer has been acquired by firestone walker brewing co., and will close its berkeley taproom on may 29.

also widely reported in recent days, vegan fine-dining restaurant millennium to close after service on may 16, after 32 combined years in san francisco and oakland.
