new april rose provisions quietly opened in mid february at 2524 san pablo avenue in berkeley.
the soothing homeware and pantry shop is filled with natural light from high, pretty windows, and features locally-made foodstuffs (artisan beverages, snacks, dried goods, condiments), as well as imported and domestic kitchen-focused accessories and heritage tableware.

owner and east bay restaurant industry vet pimm marchetti is originally from thailand, and moved to the u.s. 11 years ago in april. she proudly curates local producers – land + local shrubs and botanical syrups from sonoma; jars of umami paste and koji chili oil from marin-based rice flower koji; tempting maison bouche chocolate bars.
there are specialty beverage options in the cooler including kombuchas, nonalcoholic wines and bawi aguas frescas, and an assortment of dried teas (raazi, flowerhead).
the shop is open from tuesday-sunday from 11:30am-6pm.
