alborz persian restaurant has closed its corner dining room at 2175 allston way at oxford street in berkeley. the restaurant operated from 2005-2017 on center street in berkeley, and reopened on allston way in february of 2020, just before the pandemic. alborz has two remaining restaurants, in san francisco and walnut creek.

after three years, the peregrine cafe food truck served its final beignets, poutine and sandwiches in emeryville on september 26.

we're not sure when it happened, but it looks like seniore's pizza at 2518 durant avenue in berkeley has closed. the pizza counter is dark during opening hours and the phone has been disconnected.
